Deputy Sheriff - Pilot & Instructor, Kern County Sheriff Dept.

Doug is a 28 year veteran of the Kern County Sheriffs department.

He is both Rotary and Fixed Wing rated and flys a variety of Airbourne Law Enforcement missions for the Sheriffs Dept. Doug is well versed in many forms of ABLE mission including:

 - Search and Rescue.
 - Traffic Watch.
 - Vertical Reference.
 - Drug Eradications.
 - Mountain Flying.
 - SWAT Insertions.
 - Pursuit Tactics.
 - Surveillance.
 - Night Operations.

Doug has over 4000 flight hours covering many disciplines including NVG, FLIR and Nightsun. He is particularly highly experienced at night flying with nearly half of his total time being flown during the hours of darkness.
